Lobster Feast!!!

After a fun day of playing at Reid State Park beach and making sand castles and burying Chase in the sand, we headed back to our camper and prepared for the lobster lady.  She arrived with a smile and five almost 2 lb each fresh lobsters which she’d spent the day out on her boat collecting.  Now this is the way lobster was meant to be eaten!  (no bibs, no fancy restaurants, just fingers and a big pile of napkins.)  We also picked up 3 lbs of steamers down at the Five Islands docks, which we devoured in two batches.  Some fresh garlic and local Freeport beer.  Mmmmm they were sooo sweet!  Back to the lobster lady…if you are ever in the Bath, ME area, give her a call.  Her name is Cathy (or Kathy).  She and her husband run Kelley Lobster Co, Inc. at Five Islands Maine their #207-371-2551.  Thank you, Cathy!  I still dream of lobster…

Thanks Drew, for joining us for our seafood feast.  Drew’s interning at the Harraseeket Inn just around to corner in Freeport.  Tomorrow it’s off to discover Portland, Maine and the famed 555……………

  2. Marcus & Erica,

It’s great to see you guys doing so well and having fun doing it! I will be following your trip for sure. I can say however, no matter how good those lobster were, they weren’t as good as the ones you, Brad and I used to catch and cook for ourselves back in the Keys!

    Find Peace, be happy..

    Your friend,

    Mark
